Senior Project Engineer (Chinese Native Speaker)

Job description

The role supports projects with Chinese contractors in advanced formwork engineering. Analyze client and consultant structural drawings, develop formwork concepts and engineering solutions, design formwork in AutoCAD, create presentation designs, perform basic static calculations and advanced structural analysis, produce material lists and shop drawings, assist sales engineers with site visits and client presentations, coordinate timely delivery of shop drawings, address technical issues with clients, coordinate with other departments, and consider material availability during design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related technical discipline
• advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) for formwork design
• Revit knowledge is an advantage
• at least 5 years of intensive experience in formwork engineering and statics
• Chinese national with excellent verbal and written Mandarin communication skills
• good working proficiency in English for technical documentation and coordination
• strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail
• ability to work under minimal supervision and manage project and stakeholders
• ability to make decisions, take responsibility, delegate and deliver presentations
• eager to learn and improve knowledge and skills
• adaptable and able to manage change
• thorough understanding of business model and cross‑functional collaboration
• understanding of logistics and contract management
