Systems Engineer

Job description

Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements across product and infrastructure projects. Deliver designs meeting specifications; improve system reliability and safety metrics; develop and validate test plans and results; reduce cost through efficient engineering; support commissioning and troubleshooting on projects.

Requirements

• Proficient in electrical system design
• knowledge of power distribution, circuits, and protective devices
• familiarity with relevant codes/standards (NEC/IEC)
• experience with testing, documentation, and compliance
• circuit and system design experience
• power systems and distribution knowledge
• motor control and drives expertise
• PCB/schematic design proficiency
• testing and commissioning experience
• simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP) proficiency
• AutoCAD/EPLAN or similar proficiency
• problem‑solving and analytical thinking
• attention to detail
• cross‑functional collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• professional experience designing electrical systems.
