Operations & Maintenance & Handover Manager - Rail

Responsibilities: oversee all operations and maintenance activities for rail infrastructure; ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements and operational excellence; develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and preventative programmes; lead handover processes for rail systems, assets and facilities; direct and mentor maintenance teams, providing technical guidance and safety protocols; coordinate with internal departments and external contractors; maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and asset conditions; identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements; manage stakeholder communications; ensure compliance with Saudi rail regulations; prepare and manage maintenance budgets; conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies; facilitate induction and training programmes for new operational and maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years' experience in rail operations and maintenance management
• proven experience managing asset handovers and transition projects
• strong people management and team leadership skills
• comprehensive knowledge of rail infrastructure systems and maintenance protocols
• excellent organisational and time‑keeping abilities
