Incoming Quality Engineer

Role: Lead incoming quality activities at AMP2 KSA, protect production lines from quality issues, and ensure part quality before line introduction. Responsibilities: Deploy incoming quality strategy; set up quality resources and tools; react immediately to supplier abnormalities with containment and interim solutions; develop inspection methods, tools, and work instructions; collaborate with IT to update the SAP Quality module; train and coach the quality team; monitor SPC via SAP; ensure accurate inspection recording; create quality plans, test methods, and gauges; identify failure modes and drive corrective actions; implement departmental control and reaction plans; interact closely with suppliers, supply chain, and quality engineering; manage supplier claims and chargebacks; support Material Review Board investigations; manage third‑party sorting and repair services; track supplier quality performance through KPIs.

Requirements

• strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS‑Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• creative, energetic, self‑motivated, highly organized
• BSc or Master's degree in engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred)
• 2‑5 years experience in high‑volume OEM manufacturing
• minimum 4 years experience in the same role
• ability to influence and gain consensus with senior management
• ability to work in fast‑paced environment with multiple projects
• strong data analysis and visualization skills
• familiarity with SAP Quality module
• familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System is a plus.
