Functional Analyst (PM - SAP IS-Oil)

the employer is seeking a Functional Analyst specialized in SAP IS-Oil (PM) to support the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions within the Oil & Gas sector. The role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating requirements into SAP functionalities. Responsibilities include gathering requirements from users, analyzing business processes and mapping them to SAP IS-Oil and SAP PM, leading solution implementation and ensuring integration with other systems, providing post‑go‑live support, handling day‑to‑day user queries, preparing detailed functional specifications, conducting end‑user training, mentoring junior consultants, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration with modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO.

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP IS‑Oil and SAP PM
• Proven experience in full‑lifecycle SAP implementations (at least 1–2 end‑to‑end projects)
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry projects
• Expertise in business requirement analysis and functional documentation
• Good understanding of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO)
• Experience in post‑go‑live support and enhancement projects
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
