the employer is seeking an experienced Drafting Trainer specializing in the Oil & Gas sector. The Trainer will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs on drafting techniques, software applications, and industry standards specific to oil and gas. Responsibilities include developing and delivering training programs on drafting software and techniques; providing hands‑on sessions and workshops to enhance participants' technical skills; assessing training needs and adapting programs to client and industry requirements; evaluating trainee progress and offering feedback and support; staying updated with the latest drafting technologies, software, and standards; preparing training materials, manuals, and documentation; collaborating with management and technical teams to align training with project goals and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field
• proven experience in drafting within the Oil & Gas industry
• strong proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS, SmartPlant)
• experience delivering training or teaching technical subjects to professionals
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to develop clear and effective training materials
• knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards and safety regulations
• strong organizational and presentation skills
• ability to customize training to accommodate different skill levels and learning styles
