Senior Risk Manager

Job description

The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a major infrastructure program for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The KBR team will provide PMO services, enterprise-level governance, assurance, integration, and performance oversight across all projects and programs. Reporting to the Project Controls Director, the Senior Risk Manager is responsible for providing portfolio-wide risk management services to support effective governance, decision-making, and assurance across the portfolio, in alignment with approved risk policies, frameworks, and systems. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the Risk Management Plan, providing guidance and training to ensure consistent and effective application of risk management practices, facilitating risk meetings and developing risk registers, quantitative risk analysis, and developing cost and schedule contingency assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business management, or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of post-graduation experience
• PMI-Risk Management Professional, RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional, or equivalent certification
• Sound knowledge of risk aspects for major civil, infrastructure, and development projects, including urban developments, high-rise buildings, iconic assets, roads, bridges, and utilities
• Experience in managing a team of subordinate Risk Managers
• Experienced user of MS Office and understanding of project management software for risk reporting
• Fluency in English language both written and spoken
