Horizontal Digital is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect based in Riyadh or Jeddah to lead the technical design of a large, integration‑heavy Salesforce program for a major enterprise client. You will own the technical architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem and connected systems, ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements. This hands‑on player/coach role involves guiding development teams, participating in design reviews, solution validation, and delivery. You will work across functional, technical, integration, and data workstreams and clearly explain solution choices to business and IT stakeholders in Arabic and English. Responsibilities: Design and own end‑to‑end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data Cloud and industry clouds; translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions; evaluate and design integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware and event‑driven approaches; ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture standards for scalability, security and performance; guide development teams through design reviews, best practices and code quality oversight; define API standards and data models, including canonical models; support pre‑sales activities with solutioning, effort estimation and architectural advice; create and maintain technical documentation such as ERDs, sequence diagrams, data mappings and architecture blueprints.

Requirements

• Track record of designing and delivering scalable Salesforce technical architectures
• prepare and present technical design rationale and drive decisions with key stakeholders
• work directly with clients to shape technical solutions around business goals
• fluent in Arabic (preferred) and English (essential) with ability to explain complex technical concepts
• skilled at guiding and mentoring developers and conducting code and design reviews
• take end‑to‑end ownership of architecture, validating designs and maintaining Architecture Decision Records
• deep understanding of Salesforce platform limits, security model, deployment architecture and performance considerations
• strong background in integration including RESTful APIs, middleware platforms, batch and real-time interfaces
• familiar with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce release strategies
• leverage AI tools such as Claude Code to accelerate design and development while ensuring safe validation and rollout
• design data migration strategies across Salesforce clouds and validate data accuracy and completeness
• 8+ years client‑facing consulting experience focused on Salesforce architecture and solution design
• 8+ years hands‑on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Marketing Cloud
• fluent Arabic and English, spoken and written
• based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh or Jeddah
• experience working in cross‑functional project teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions
• strong system documentation skills (ERDs, process flows, sequence diagrams, etc.)
• proven experience designing scalable integration patterns with external systems
• Salesforce certifications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, and one or more Architect domain certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect)
• experience with agile methods including estimation and planning across multidisciplinary teams
