Electrical Inspector

Job description

the employer is seeking a detail‑oriented Electrical Inspector to ensure all electrical installation works comply with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include inspecting electrical installations such as wiring, panels, transformers, and equipment to verify compliance with design documents and standards; ensuring adherence to electrical codes and safety regulations; identifying and documenting non‑conformities and coordinating corrective actions with contractors; assisting in testing and commissioning of electrical systems; maintaining detailed and accurate inspection reports and documentation; collaborating with project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues; promoting safety awareness and compliance on site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• minimum of 7 years experience in electrical inspection or quality control in construction projects
• strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards
• proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documents
• good communication and reporting skills
• experience in large‑scale infrastructure projects advantage
• knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety regulations and standards preferred
