Procurement Officer

Job description

Key role ensuring reliable supply of ingredients, packaging, and consumables for the production facility while maintaining cost efficiency and supplier standards. Manage end-to-end procurement within an agreed budget, from sourcing and onboarding suppliers to negotiating terms and monitoring performance. Collaborate with kitchen, inventory, receiving, and quality teams to ensure materials are available on time without compromising food quality or safety.

Requirements

• Saudi national
• 5-6 years experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supplier management
• experience in food production, bakery, FMCG, hospitality or similar environment preferred
• strong experience in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers
• proven ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve performance issues
• strong commercial and negotiation skills focused on cost optimization
• comfortable managing procurement budgets, tracking spend, and reporting variances and savings
• understanding of ingredients, packaging, and consumables used in food production preferred
• strong understanding of supplier quality, food-safety, and compliance requirements
• experience developing backup or alternative supplier options for critical products
• strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• ability to manage multiple suppliers, orders, negotiations, and priorities simultaneously
• strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
• proactive and commercially minded with ability to identify opportunities and solve supply challenges independently
• comfortable working in a fast‑paced, growing production environment
