SAP Basis System Administrator

Job description

Perform daily SAP Basis administration and monitoring. Monitor system health, performance, and availability. Support SAP installations, configurations, upgrades, and patches. Manage users, roles, authorizations, and access. Monitor system logs, work processes, background jobs, and performance. Support transport management across environments. Monitor databases and perform basic administration. Support backup and restore and troubleshoot issues. Monitor interfaces and RFC connections and assist in resolution. Coordinate with functional and technical teams to resolve SAP incidents. Maintain technical documentation and procedures. Support system maintenance and ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 1–2 years hands‑on experience in SAP Basis administration
• good understanding of SAP architecture and Basis administration
• basic knowledge of SAP user and authorization management
• knowledge of SAP transports, background jobs, system monitoring, and troubleshooting
• basic understanding of databases such as HANA or SQL Server
• good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• good communication and teamwork skills
• SAP Basis certification.
