Senior Procurement Manager

Job description

The Senior Procurement Manager leads the procurement department at the employer for civil engineering projects. Develops procurement strategies, negotiates with suppliers, and ensures compliance with regulations and company policies. Coordinates with stakeholders to identify needs and updates the procurement plan according to priorities. Manages sourcing processes from supplier qualification to preparation of tender and contract documents. Supports change order requests and achieves departmental goals by setting individual objectives and guiding teams. Operates proactively in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on quality and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
• 15 years of experience in procurement management or similar role
• proven expertise in developing procurement strategies and delivering cost savings
• strong knowledge of procurement regulations, policies and procedures
• proficient negotiation and contract management skills
• ability to lead, mentor and develop a team
• proficient analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• proficient communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
