Senior Electrical Engineer

Job description

The senior electrical engineer will lead the design and analysis of electrical systems for various infrastructure projects. He will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated engineering solutions. He will prepare and review detailed engineering documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and drawings. He will oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet specifications and standards. He will conduct site evaluations and troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise. He will ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices. He will stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate into projects. He will provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff. He will prepare progress reports and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in infrastructure projects
• strong proficiency in electrical design software and tools
• in-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards
• excellent problem‑solving skills with a strong analytical mindset
• effective verbal and written communication skills
• strong leadership capabilities and experience managing project teams

• experience with international standards and environmental engineering is an advantage
