Community Inspector - CITY AM

Job description

Key responsibilities include conducting regular inspections of residential, commercial and common areas; identifying violations of community rules, property standards, landscaping, parking, waste management and public safety; monitoring facilities and infrastructure to ensure required standards; reporting defects, damages and maintenance needs to relevant departments; ensuring compliance with community policies, municipal regulations and environmental standards; inspecting contractor activities for adherence to approved standards and safety; documenting violations and initiating corrective actions; following up on outstanding violations to ensure timely resolution; responding to resident complaints and service requests and providing guidance on regulations; coordinating with property management, maintenance contractors and external authorities as needed; preparing daily, weekly and monthly inspection reports and maintaining accurate records; using inspection software or mobile apps to record observations and track resolutions; generating photographic evidence and detailed reports for management; identifying health and safety hazards, ensuring public areas are clean, safe and accessible; monitoring waste disposal practices and environmental compliance; reporting emergencies and supporting incident investigations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or related field
• professional certifications in Property Management, Facilities Management or Health & Safety are an advantage
• 2-5 years experience in community management, facilities management, property inspection, municipal inspection or related fields
• experience in residential communities, mixed-use developments, hospitality destinations or real estate projects preferred
