Senior Supercomputing Systems Manager

Job description

She leads the Supercomputing Laboratory at the employer Supercomputing Laboratory (KSL) by managing a supercomputing cluster of approximately 600 CPU and graphics nodes, storage systems, InfiniBand and Ethernet networking, and solving daily operational issues. Tasks include providing comprehensive support to researchers and end users in the areas of computational science, engineering, big data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads. · Provide effective support to users via phone, in-person, email and ticket system while maintaining customer service standards. · Install, configure and manage supercomputing subsystems including compute nodes, high-performance storage systems, InfiniBand networks, Ethernet and configuration management.

Requirements

• · Experience managing and operating a supercomputing lab that includes hundreds of nodes, high-performance storage and networking systems
• · Familiarity with InfiniBand and Ethernet networking systems, management and configuration
