Facilities Inspector

Job description

Supervise the management, operation and maintenance of plant support utility systems to ensure reliable operation of power generation, electrical systems, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, RO water treatment, wastewater, HVAC, and fire protection. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans and monitor utility consumption to improve energy efficiency and reduce cost. Ensure compliance with health, safety, food safety and regulatory requirements, lead fault investigation and corrective actions. Coordinate with production, maintenance and quality departments to ensure continuous operations, manage contractors and maintenance activities and projects. Track performance indicators and equipment reliability, manage department budget and cost control. Lead and develop the utilities team and support expansion and improvement projects related to utilities and infrastructure

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, boilers, electrical systems, water treatment and wastewater
• experience in utilities, engineering or maintenance operations
• use of technical documentation
• supervision of record management
• quality assurance procedures
