Senior Business Analyst

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join one of our clients. In this role you will drive business solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, optimize processes, and align with business objectives. You will support and ensure successful completion of analysis, development, testing, and deployment of software product features. Lead and facilitate business requirements gathering using interviews, workshops, document analysis, and other techniques. Act as the primary Business Analyst in client-facing engagements, managing stakeholder expectations and aligning business and technical teams. Translate business needs into clear, structured, actionable deliverables such as requirements, user stories, process flows, and data models using Jira and Confluence. Own requirements clarity and ensure readiness for development with complete, consistent, testable specifications. Drive stakeholder alignment and proactively resolve ambiguities, gaps, and conflicting requirements. Evaluate solution options ensuring fit with client needs, system constraints, and integration requirements. Work closely with engineering and integration teams to define and support system integrations, APIs, and data flows across fintech and banking systems. Support project delivery by ensuring requirements readiness, stakeholder alignment, and timely resolution of dependencies affecting development and testing. Support User Acceptance Testing by defining acceptance criteria, validating requirements, and ensuring delivered solutions meet business expectations. Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to solution effectiveness and delivery efficiency

Requirements

• Proficient with Jira
• strong experience in Agile environments including backlog management, sprint planning, and stakeholder alignment
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, CCE, or related field
• 5-7+ years experience as Business Analyst or similar role
• strong experience in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and solution design
• proven ability to operate in client-facing roles and manage stakeholders in complex, ambiguous environments
• experience analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and using data visualization techniques and tools
• familiarity with compliance-driven requirements
• strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
