Manager, Exploration

Job description

In this role, the individual will be an active safety leader. Establish, lead, and drive exploration work programs to achieve the exploration strategy, targets, KPIs. Develop drilling strategies, plans, and budgets in collaboration with the Director of Exploration and other stakeholders, emphasizing the identification and delineation of new mineral resources near existing mine sites. Provide the technical framework, guidance, and peer review of exploration targets to the site-based team in achieving exploration objectives. Lead continuous improvement in understanding of the economic geology of identified target areas. Interpret drilling results and provide geological insights and recommendations to support resource estimation, optimization, and development planning decisions.

Requirements

• Professional Degree in Geological Science or related degree
• Over 13 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 8 years with a major mining company and experience of operating at a management level. Ma’aden High Performance Competencies
