QA/QC Engineer (Site Supervision)

Job description

The role involves overseeing on‑site quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure all work complies with specifications, standards, and regulations. Conduct on‑site QA/QC inspections; supervise QA/QC personnel; perform testing using appropriate methods and equipment and document findings; analyze inspection data to identify issues and improvement areas; prepare detailed quality reports and maintain organized records; communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders; ensure adherence to quality management systems and procedures throughout the project; investigate discrepancies and verify corrective actions; maintain professional relationships with contractors, suppliers, and project team members to support quality objectives

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in QA/QC inspection and site‑based quality control activities
• proven experience in site supervision or supervisory roles within construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments
• strong knowledge of quality standards, codes, and specifications relevant to the industry
• proficiency in quality testing and inspection methodologies and procedures
• excellent technical documentation and report writing skills
• demonstrated ability to analyze data and identify quality issues with precision
• strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• proficiency with inspection tools, equipment, and quality management software
• problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail in identifying and resolving quality concerns
• preferred certification in quality management systems (ISO 9001, ASQ, or equivalent)
• preferred experience with quality management information systems and digital documentation tools
• preferred project management experience or familiarity with project coordination.
