HVAC Assistant Technician

the employer & Africa, a leader in heating, cooling, ventilation, air purification and refrigeration technology, seeks early‑career Saudi talent with a Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning to join the Service & Maintenance team in Riyadh. In this role you will support the experienced service team with HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installation, testing and commissioning at customer sites, gaining hands‑on experience with the employer technologies such as Chillers, VRV, DX, AHU, FAHU and FCU while developing technical and problem‑solving skills. Responsibilities: attend service calls, assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation and commissioning, identify and report mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults, perform basic refrigerant handling and leak checks under supervision, read basic technical drawings and service manuals, prepare service reports and keep accurate records, follow HSE and quality standards, maintain tools and provide professional customer support

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration or Air Conditioning
• 0–1 year of relevant experience
• internship or industrial training is a plus
• basic understanding of HVAC, refrigeration and electrical fundamentals
• willingness to learn and develop troubleshooting skills
• good teamwork, communication and customer‑service skills
• good Arabic communication and basic English proficiency
• basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• comfortable working at customer sites and outdoors
• strong commitment to safety and quality.
