Job Summary Job Description We are looking for a **Massage Therapist** who is skilled and professional to provide high quality massage and wellness treatments to clients. The massage therapist will assess clients' needs, recommend appropriate treatments, implement various massage techniques, and ensure a safe, comfortable and relaxing experience while maintaining professional standards and hygiene. Key Responsibilities * Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences and any related physical concerns. * Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, aromatherapy, relaxation, and other treatments depending on qualifications. * Customize treatments based on each client's requirements and comfort level. * Maintain a clean, healthy and welcoming treatment environment. * Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment, linens, oils, and supplies are properly maintained. * Follow health, safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times. * Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries. * Provide appropriate after-treatment care instructions and health recommendations. * Monitor clients' comfort throughout treatment and adjust techniques When necessary. * Maintain accurate treatment records where required. * Communicate professionally with clients and other spa or wellness team members. * Promote available spa services and products where appropriate. * Report any equipment issues, incidents, or concerns to management. * Attend training and maintain professional knowledge and certifications. ## Qualifications * Relevant certificate or diploma in massage therapy, spa therapy, or related field. * Previous experience as a massage therapist is preferred. * Knowledge of different massage techniques and their appropriate applications. * Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation and customer safety procedures. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Professional appearance, attitude and demeanor. * Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries. * Good physical stamina and ability to stand and perform massage treatments for long periods of time. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.
