GIS I&C Specialist

Job description

The specialist carries out all activities required to install, repair, and eliminate faults in switching systems. Responsible for worldwide high‑voltage system installation for PGHV and representing the company at installation sites. Adheres to project deadlines while considering cost‑performance. Follows PG QA philosophy and site conditions. Executes installation and commissioning tasks in perfect technical order. Duties include independent installation and maintenance, ensuring compliance with installation requirements and safety measures, preparing red‑mark drawings with changes, advising sub‑supplier superintendents on workforce planning, cooperating with the PG Project Manager on work status, inspecting incoming material and coordinating handling, issuing non‑conformance reports, supervising final installation and commissioning tests and documentation, coordinating loop‑check activities and attending site meetings, ensuring competent task execution, complying with external and internal regulations, and living the employer’s safety and integrity values

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 2-5 years experience with GIS
• knowledge of SF6 gas handling and PGHV transmission/sub‑transmission GIS products
• proficiency in using MS Project
• proficiency in spoken and written English
