Sr. Officer HSE

Job description

Implements HSE requirements according to company policy and proposes compliance measures. Generates statistical reports on incidents, near misses, and lost man-hours. Monitors and reports employee illnesses or health concerns. Oversees employee welfare programs. Ensures strict use of personal protective equipment. Identifies risks, conducts assessments, and recommends controls. Updates and reviews HIRARC to align with operational changes. Measures factory noise levels and develops corrective actions with PPE recommendations. Prepares detailed incident reports and leads investigations including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Supports HSE implementation at project/site level ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and project HSE plans. Conducts regular workplace inspections, participates in safety audits and risk assessments, and ensures timely closure of corrective actions. Follows up daily on safety non-conformances for timely resolution or escalation. Maintains HSE reports, inspection records, and incident documentation. Coordinates emergency response, fire safety management, and emergency drills. Promotes a proactive safety culture and encourages hazard reporting. Provides regular safety performance updates and recommendations to management. Monitors contractor compliance with safety requirements. Collaborates with teams to achieve work objectives. Ensures effective communication with peers and managers and openness to feedback. Executes planned activities to meet operational targets within schedules. Utilizes resources efficiently to achieve objectives within cost and time constraints. Resolves issues and escalates complex problems. Adheres to quality requirements and specifications. Executes tasks in line with defined policies, procedures, and work instructions. Complies with all safety procedures and regulations
