TPE IV/Principal Civil Engineer - Mining Projects

Job Description the employer is currently looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to support our projects work. The role involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia. Pre-construction and excavation leads to pre-construction site assessments, surveys, and site mobilization. Managing massive excavations, bulk excavations and grading operations. Check ground stability and soil compaction and improve them if possible. Civil and Structural Implementation - Supervising foundation pouring and remediation of mining infrastructure. Supervising the installation of steel and reinforced concrete structures for processing plants. Ensure that the contractor follows project specifications and engineering design. Issuing non-conformity reports for unacceptable construction incidents. Direct waterproofing, thermal insulation and asset protection systems against harsh climates. Infrastructure and drainage design deploys comprehensive stormwater drainage networks and flood mitigation systems. The design must be completed by the home office prior to construction. The field engineer may be involved in limited design tasks that are essentially a modification of the original design. Please rephrase this requirement. Managing civil finishing works including heavy mining roads and access piers. Coordinate excavation of trenches, pipelines and containment pond construction. Field Support and Safety Provide real-time field engineering support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Enforce strict HSE protocols in conjunction with local regulatory bodies. Review engineering drawings and a 3D model of a solution On-site design conflicts and respond to technical inquiries (RFIs). Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Registration: Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). Experience: Over 15 years in heavy industrial, infrastructure or mining construction projects. Regulations: Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local environmental laws
