Reporting Officer - Capital Renewal Program

the employer is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Reporting Leader to manage and lead the reporting activities for a capital renewal program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Reporting Lead is responsible for overseeing program-level reporting, analysis, and operational visioning for the capital renewal program at KAUST. This role ensures accurate, timely and actionable insights are delivered across all projects, supporting leadership in strategic decision making, governance and implementation. The role acts as a critical liaison between project teams and executive management by integrating data, managing reporting frameworks and driving continuous improvement in reporting, dashboards and software integration processes. * Lead the design, development and delivery of regular and ad hoc reporting related to the capital renewal programme. * Collaborate with project and finance managers and other stakeholders to define reporting requirements and key performance indicators. * Develop, implement and maintain standardized reporting frameworks covering scope, cost, schedule, risk and KPIs, ensuring governance, accuracy and consistency. * Consolidate project data into weekly, monthly and quarterly executive reports, providing timely actionable insights to leadership. * Create and implement reporting protocols, including timelines, validation workflows and approval processes across all project teams. * Track and manage the interconnections between projects, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and funding cycles. * Identify and communicate risks across projects delays and resource conflicts, and provide impact assessments and mitigation strategies. * Design and maintain executive dashboards, providing real-time visibility into program progress, budget utilization, schedule performance and key risks. * Review and validate master schedules, monitor critical path and dependencies, and proactively address slippages using recovery plans. * Drive continuous improvement by enhancing reporting tools, templates, and processes while promoting best practices in planning, scheduling, and program reporting. ** Requirements ** * Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or related field. * It is preferable to obtain a professional certification such as PMP. * Certification in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage. * At least 7 years of experience preparing project reports, program management, or supervising capital projects. * Experience managing operational reporting frameworks and dashboards. * Strong understanding of project life cycle, governance and reporting processes. * Experience in schedule management and critical path analysis. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and SAP. * Experience with dashboard and analytics tools. * Strong analytical, problem-solving and mathematics skills
