Banking Accountant

Job description

Prepare and perform bank reconciliations regularly. Review bank statements and ensure accurate recording of all transfers, deposits, withdrawals and payments. Prepare and process payments to suppliers and other parties. Follow up on outstanding checks and bank transactions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records. Maintain accurate records of all banking transactions. Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-4 years of relevant experience
• good knowledge of bank reconciliation and banking transactions
• experience handling bank statements, payments and transfers
• proficient in Microsoft Excel
• strong analytical skills and attention to detail
