Our partner is looking for a Magento Developer based in Saudi Arabia. **As a Magento Developer, you will contribute to the development, customization, and maintenance of e-commerce websites built on Magento 2. In this remote, part-time role, you will work on project-based tasks or monthly contracts, helping to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance online shopping experiences. You will customize storefronts, develop modules, integrate third-party services, and resolve technical issues to ensure the website functions smoothly. Working with a range of web technologies, you will help improve website performance, usability and security while meeting project requirements. You will collaborate with team members to deliver high quality solutions within agreed timelines and adapt to evolving business needs. This opportunity is ideal for a developer with a solid foundation in Magento 2 who values flexible work arrangements and hands-on experience with e-commerce projects. ### Responsibilities * Develop, customize and maintain e-commerce websites using Magento 2, ensuring functionality, reliability and a seamless user experience. * Customize Magento themes, modules, plugins, and storefront features to meet specific project and business requirements. * Integrate third-party PIs, payment gateways, shipping services, and other external tools to expand the site's capabilities. * Troubleshoot technical issues, identify errors, implement fixes, and maintain the stability of e-commerce platforms. * Improving the performance of the website B, loading speed, and general functionality to support efficient and responsive online shopping experiences. * Write, test, and maintain code using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML. * Implement security updates, apply maintenance fixes, and follow proper development practices to help protect websites and customer data. * Collaborate with team members to clarify requirements, provide technical updates, and deliver project milestones within agreed upon deadlines. * Support continuous improvements and technical improvements based on project priorities and evolving business needs. ## Requirements * Between one and three years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development, customization, and maintenance. * Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL, with the ability to develop and troubleshoot e-commerce functionality. * Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML for storefront customization and web development. * Experience customizing Magento themes, modules, extensions and storefront components. * Understanding of third-party API integrations, payment gateway configurations, and shipping service integrations. * Ability to identify and solve technical problems, correct software errors, and improve website performance. * Awareness of website security practices, software updates and ongoing maintenance of the e-commerce platform. * Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to producing clean, reliable, and maintainable code. * Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to understand project requirements and work independently when needed. * Good time management skills and Ability to deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines in a remote working environment. * Availability for part-time contract work, with flexibility to support project-based or monthly engagements.
