Job description
Provide accurate, timely technical information on the employer products and services before, during, and after transactions to enhance customer relationships. Develop retrofit solutions to expand service offerings and support troubleshooting. Analyze vibration data and instrument readings to assess rotating equipment condition. Provide technical support to the AM Commercial Operations Team and participate in customer meetings. Conduct feasibility studies for pump retrofits and prepare preliminary drawings. Follow guidelines from the AM & Services Director to develop aftermarket services and dedicated technical solutions. Support field service teams on-site with technical guidance. Assist Warranty and Commissioning Managers in resolving technical claims and root cause analysis. Support Service Center with escalated issues, providing advanced vibration analysis and feedback on machinery health. Contribute to best practice development for field engineers and train them in vibration analysis
Requirements
- proficient in providing accurate technical information
- proficient in vibration data analysis
- knowledge of developing retrofit solutions
- experience with pump feasibility studies
- proficient in preparing preliminary drawings
- knowledge of AM & Services Director guidelines for aftermarket services
- proficient in supporting field teams with technical guidance
- proficient in assisting Warranty Managers with root cause analysis
- proficient in spectrum, time waveform, and acceleration envelope analysis
- knowledge of rotating equipment health assessment using instrument readings
- proficient in developing best practices for service engineers
- proficient in training engineers on vibration analysis
- proficient in MS Office including complex spreadsheets and macros
- proficient in PTC Creo 3D and 2D
- proficient in FEM packages such as PTC Symulate, Xlrotor, Madyn, Ansys
- knowledge of programming for big data analysis like Scilab or Matlab
- degree in mechanical engineering.
