Job Purpose Implement purchasing strategies for assigned components (goods/services), to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products Job Description • Fulfill inquiry and purchasing activities on time and on budget • Ensure all information necessary to issue the inquiry is available • Verifies procurement terms applicable to the project and, if not, reports to the Project Procurement Manager • Expedites bids • Conducts all vendor negotiations • Timely prepares purchase order documents and checks quality • Contributes to recoveries with important customers with overdue concerns that have been notified to vendors Indeed.
