Workshop Technician

Job description

Responsible for carrying out all related workshop activities, including repairing or maintaining equipment or keeping all tools/equipment stored on designated racks in the workshop to monitor inventory and asset management. Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with company and customer(s) the employer maintenance standards and procedures. Specialized training in equipment procedures and maintenance is required with knowledge of field service and/or shop repair functions. Ensures compliance with HSE regulations and guidelines. Promotes and actively participates in the quality improvement process

Requirements

• · Ability to repair and maintain equipment in accordance with company and customer maintenance standards and procedures
• · Manage inventory and assets by storing tools and equipment on designated shelves and monitoring inventory
• · Familiarity with equipment and maintenance procedures through specialized training or field experience
• · Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations and guidelines in all activities
• · Active participation in improving the quality of operations within the workshop
• · Work within the workshop team and undertake all related activities independently.
