About the company: the employer is Saudi Arabia's fastest-growing construction‑tech startup providing contractors instant access to over 7,000 building‑material SKUs from 1,100 vetted suppliers via web, mobile apps and WhatsApp. Role: Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant manages the full AR cycle, ensures accurate billing, timely collections and proper transaction recording. Responsibilities: oversee invoicing, collections and customer account maintenance; review and code AR transactions according to company policies and accounting standards; maintain the AR ledger and perform aging analysis; prepare journal entries, accruals and ECL provisions; conduct regular reconciliations and generate aging reports with collection recommendations; support internal and external audits; ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls; monitor cash inflows and contribute to cash‑flow forecasting; collaborate with sales, procurement and operations teams; mentor junior AR staff; identify process improvements and support AR automation tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• 4 to 8 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing or a related accounting role
• SOCPA certification is a MUST
• strong knowledge of AR processes, revenue recognition and internal controls
• advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting systems (ZOHO Books or similar)
• excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• familiarity with ZOHO Books or similar financial software
• knowledge of credit management, tax compliance and regulatory reporting
