Job description

the employer is seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals for the role of Reporting Manager - Rail. You will oversee reporting activities for rail projects, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and presentation to support strategic decisions. The role requires strong rail industry knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and management of complex reporting systems. Lead development, management, and delivery of comprehensive rail project reports. Collaborate with project teams to define reporting requirements and data sources for rail operations. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all reporting outputs. Analyze rail project data to provide insights and support performance and risk management. Develop and maintain dashboards and visualization tools for stakeholder engagement. Coordinate reporting activities across multiple teams and external partners as needed

Requirements

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in railway reporting and data management
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Transport, or a related field
• Total of 18 years experience in reporting or project management within the rail sector
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver reports under tight deadlines
• Previous experience in managing or contributing to large-scale rail infrastructure projects preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• Strong understanding of rail industry operations, standards, and regulatory requirements
