Passive Infrastructure Engineer(OSP)

Job description

The OSP/Passive Infrastructure Engineer designs, plans, and manages physical outside-plant telecom infrastructure. This role ensures physical connectivity, civil works compliance, and network expansion outside the data center or main facility. Responsibilities include network route planning, vendor and subcontractor oversight, permitting and authority approvals, GIS and CAD mapping, and site acceptance and quality control

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• deep knowledge of OSP civil works, trenchless technology, fiber cable blowing, civil chambers/manholes, and RoW regulations in Saudi Arabia/GCC
• proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS software, and fiber management systems
• certifications (preferred): FOA Certified Outside Plant Technician, PMP, or BICSI OSP Designer
• 5+ years of experience
