Fire Fighters - NFPA

Job description

Join the client’s emergency response team in the Eastern Province. Respond to fire and emergency incidents, operate firefighting equipment, support emergency preparedness activities, and ensure personnel and equipment readiness according to company procedures and Saudi fire safety standards. Responsibilities: Respond promptly to fires, rescues, hazardous material incidents, and other emergencies; perform firefighting, rescue, containment, and emergency control using appropriate equipment and procedures; follow fire protection policies, SOPs, emergency response plans, and Saudi fire safety requirements; participate in scheduled drills, training exercises, and plan updates; inspect, maintain, and ensure readiness of fire trucks, breathing apparatus, protective gear, tools, and other equipment; respond to hazardous material incidents with proper PPE and Hazmat procedures; coordinate with firefighters, emergency personnel, operations teams, and authorities; prepare accurate reports on incidents, response activities, inspections, and drills

Requirements

• Proficient in operating firefighting equipment
• proficient in preparing incident reports
• good English proficiency
• knowledge of Saudi fire safety standards
• NFPA 1001 – Fire Fighter I & II certification
• NFPA 472 – Hazmat Awareness & Operations certification
• previous experience as a firefighter in industrial, commercial, residential or drilling environments
• High School Diploma or Diploma in Firefighting, Fire & Safety or related field
• good knowledge of fire emergency response, hazardous materials, technical rescue and fire prevention
• ability to participate in emergency drills and response planning
• ability to work in emergency response environments and follow safety procedures
• preferred experience in Oil & Gas or high‑risk industrial sectors
• preferred experience with industrial firefighting vehicles and equipment
• NFPA 1002 – Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator certification preferred
• experience in emergency drills and fire risk mitigation activities.
