Senior Manager - Asset Management

Job description

the employer is seeking a Senior Manager - Asset Management to support the Head of Asset Management in shaping and delivering a citywide asset management framework. The role ensures assets are governed, accepted, managed, monitored, and renewed in a consistent, risk‑based, data‑led manner across the city. Responsibilities include supporting the development of the City‑wide Asset Strategy, creating the Strategic Asset Management Plan, developing the asset classification hierarchy, overseeing the central asset register and data quality, supporting asset adoption and handover processes, contributing to lifecycle and renewal planning, establishing condition and performance monitoring, assessing asset criticality and resilience, governing interfaces between FM teams, districts and City Ops, and providing analysis, reporting and strategic recommendations

Requirements

• Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis
• Proficient in Excel
• Knowledge of asset budgeting
• Understanding of ISO55001 standards
• Experience in asset management for a municipality or property management/operations
• Minimum 7 years of experience in asset management
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering or related field
• Advanced degree preferred
