Job description
Appointed by the Operations Manager to report to him. Establishes flight crew standards and standard operating procedures. Oversees line operations, the aviation inspector program and crew skill renewal. Manages crew discipline and drives continuous improvement of operational practices. Supports the Operations Manager and acts on his behalf in operational matters as needed. Coordinates with the General Authority of Civil Aviation on flight crew standards
Requirements
- Experience in developing professional flight crew standards and SOPs according to GACAR Part 121.45
- experience in supervising line operations, the aviation inspector program and crew skill renewal
- experience in managing flight crew discipline, coaching and continuous improvement of operational practices
- experience in interacting with the General Authority of Civil Aviation regarding flight crew standards
- experience in reporting to the Operations Manager and acting on his behalf in operational matters as needed
