Chief Accountant

Job description

Supervise daily operations and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls. Record transactions accurately and on time and prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and management reports. Monitor cash flow, bank balances, receivables, payables and perform periodic reconciliations and investigate variances. Review invoices, payments, expenses and supporting documents for accuracy and authorization. Maintain organized accounting records in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and cost control activities. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and banks to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements and local financial regulations. Monitor internal financial controls, propose improvements and provide management with analytical financial reports to support decision‑making. Supervise the accounting team and provide necessary support
