Safety Engineer

Job description

He worked in a the employer industry company, responsible for implementing and managing occupational safety systems and procedures, inspecting fire extinguishers, dealing with emergency situations, organizing safety inspection tours, monitoring risks and preparing reports, and coordinating evacuation plans. An overview of the profession: The safety engineer is the specialist who ensures the application of occupational health and safety standards in all projects and activities within industrial and service facilities in Saudi Arabia. Participates in assessing risks, developing prevention measures, and reviewing compliance with local and international regulations such as the Saudi Occupational Safety System. The usual tasks for this profession: • Monitoring compliance with occupational health and safety standards and requirements at work sites • Conducting periodic inspections, identifying potential risks and finding solutions for them • Preparing and training workers on emergency and preventive safety procedures • Investigating work accidents and preparing technical reports about them to avoid their recurrence

Requirements

• Saudi nationality
• Bachelor of Engineering
• Previous experience in the field of occupational safety and health
• Good knowledge of occupational safety procedures and systems
• Knowledge and experience in types of fire extinguishers
• Ability to deal with emergency situations
