Lead Civil Site Engineer

Job description

This role requires a Lead Civil Site Engineer to work in the Riyadh area. The job type is full-time. Responsibilities include managing the site and implementing engineering projects. Study the topographic and geological condition of the constructional site, as well as the results of soil testing; prepare the constructional designs; follow up the preparation and audit of constructional outlines; follow up the preparation of items, quantities and specifications lists for the constructional materials; supervise the project execution and compliance with the specifications; and prepare the specialized documents and reports related to work outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in managing Site civil works at 380kv Substations and other power projects
• Strong knowledge in Civil works construction, installation, Quality processing include liaison with MEP and electrical equipment installation activities.
• Strong knowledge in Civil works Codes, standards, quality processing, QS/take-off & resources planning/Estimate
• Valid driver's license and passport
• Fluent English
• The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction
• Desired Characteristics
• Has the knowledge and skill to actively support site visits, missions, presentations & be aware of where to seek answers to questions as they arise.
• Ability to understand and implement Architectural and structural technical drawings, General Arrangement, etc…).
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD & MS Office Software Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel
• Fluency in Arabic is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure
• Take ownership of onsite activities
• Willing to travel, relocate in country and worldwide, and to work over-time
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills.
