Senior Project / Cost Controls Engineer

Job description

At the employer, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project / Cost Controls Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. You will provide project controls support across cost, schedule, risk, revenue, margin, cash flow, and change management. You will work closely with Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, Contracts, and Finance teams to ensure that project performance is measured consistently, financial exposure is identified early, and corrective actions are clearly owned and tracked. You will operate with a high degree of independence while maintaining compliance with contractual requirements, internal governance, and established project controls processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, finance, accounting, or a related discipline · Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project controls, cost engineering, quantity surveying, commercial management, project finance, or corporate finance supporting construction, infrastructure, engineering, or consultancy projects · Demonstrated experience in cost control, forecasting, budget management, variance analysis, revenue and margin reporting, accruals, cash flow, and management reporting · Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting, budgeting, EVM, change control, risk management, cash flow, and performance reporting · Financial and commercial acumen: ability to understand project P&L, revenue recognition, margin drivers, accruals, working capital, contract terms, and the financial consequences of project decisions
