Structural/Civil Inspector

Job description

In this role, you will perform challenging and sometimes complex inspection tasks. Inspects various aspects of work on the job site and conducts continuous monitoring of assigned inspection activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and specifications. You will conduct an inspection to determine whether the work has been done in accordance with the contract specifications and may include any of the following: construction of roads, bridges and associated improvements, drainage works, traffic control, compliance with SWPPP requirements, installation of electrical equipment, hệ thống irrigation and cultivation, removal and pilings, installation of mechanical equipment, facility construction and site development. In addition, you will maintain office files related to the project, calculate quantities, write daily diaries, prepare daily reports and other required documentation, monitor approval materials, identify potential conflicts and problems, and provide reports on quantities installed and the number of workers and equipment on site

Requirements

• Certain educational qualifications in a technical or construction field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience, are required. 10+ years of relevant experience in field projects. Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications and have a thorough knowledge of construction-related operations. You must be proficient in English and writing reports and emails. You must be able to perform mathematical calculations to prepare engineering calculations, drawings and graphs. Must be familiar with basic computer, Microsoft Office, and project management programs. Must be able to comply with multiple requirements as per customer and industry standards
