Job description

The Anesthesia Consultant at the employer in Medina provides high‑quality patient care. Performs clinical duties within assigned privileges, conducts comprehensive patient assessments (clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, functional) and documents findings. Develops evidence‑based care plans and ensures timely implementation. Serves as the Most Responsible Physician for inpatients, creates discharge plans at admission, and coordinates discharge‑planning services. Assesses inpatients daily and writes SOAP progress notes. Responds promptly to medical consultations and documents interventions per the employer standards. Completes discharge summaries with medication education. Participates in departmental call duties, meetings, and contributes to efficiency and patient satisfaction. Prepares medical reports, engages in teaching rounds, and educates patients and families. Upholds the employer’s person‑centered values, confidentiality, and ethical standards

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in anesthesia
• proficient in comprehensive patient assessments
• proficient in developing and implementing evidence‑based care plans
• proficient in medical record documentation according to the employer standards
• proficient in responding to medical consultations and documenting interventions
• proficient in preparing discharge summaries and medication education
• proficient in preparing medical reports
