They offer clinical information on medicines, report suspected adverse reactions, and provide personalised support to patients. Pharmacists formulate and test medications in laboratories, and store, preserve, and distribute them. Typical duties of this profession: • Study the specifications and formulations of medicines, drugs and pharmaceuticals, and their preparation and dispensing, according to the prescription; and study and determine the side effects of their use and their effects on humans. • Review the pharmacy needs; and determine the types and quantities of medicines and therapies as well as their specifications; prepare and review the purchase orders; receive and store the items and follow up their availability, according to the pharmacy records and based on the pharmaceutical bases. • review the drug prescriptions and preparation before dispensing to the customer; and advise the patient on the administration method and possible side effects • Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with advancements in the field of pharmacy • Prepare the documents and reports related to pharmacy and keep them on their relevant database, as per the regulating policies and procedures; ensure the application of principles and rules of public safety during the conduct of various pharmacy work
