PACS Administrator (Senior)

Job description

The role ensures continuous and efficient operation of RIS/PACS systems for the employer in Makkah, covering Jeddah and Makkah. Responsibilities include maintaining all technical aspects and integrations, providing end‑user technical support, and managing IT infrastructure. Manage technical issues of RIS/PACS servers, integrations, workstations, and physician the employer portals. Perform daily preventive maintenance for critical areas. Maintain and update RIS user lists such as radiologists, technicians, receptionists, typists, and clinicians. Schedule periodic maintenance and upgrades with Siemens, coordinating with the System Integration Manager, Radiology Director, and administration. Ensure daily backups of PACS/RIS and timely tape changes. Verify High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions are synchronized and optimized. Demonstrate new techniques, equipment, and procedures to staff. Provide basic support for end‑user applications including HIS, email, antivirus, internet, and desktop apps. Install and configure systems, HIS applications, software, and hardware. Prepare operating systems by installing Windows OS and desktop applications. Assess user needs and business requirements and produce assessment reports. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 0-1 years experience in a relevant IT healthcare field
• proficient in managing technical issues related to RIS/PACS servers
• knowledge of daily preventive maintenance for critical systems
• proficient in updating RIS user lists
• experience with coordinating maintenance and upgrades with Siemens
• knowledge of daily backups and tape changes
• proficient in verifying High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
• knowledge of demonstrating new techniques and equipment
• proficient in basic end‑user support for HIS, email, antivirus, internet and desktop applications
• proficient in installing and configuring systems, software and hardware
• proficient in preparing Windows OS and desktop applications
