Job description

Join our team as a friendly and energetic Cashier. Greet customers with a professional attitude, take accurate orders and process payments via the POS system. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, maintain strong knowledge of menu items and promotions. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions clearly, and recommend additional items to support upselling. Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time. Prepare dine-in trays and takeaway orders, checking for accuracy. Keep the cashier and service area clean and organized. Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and prepare closing reports, reporting any discrepancies or POS issues to the supervisor. Follow company procedures, food safety standards, and customer service guidelines, and support team members during busy periods

Requirements

• 2–3 years experience as a Cashier in a high-quality counter-service or self-service restaurant
• proficiency with POS systems and cash transaction handling
• proficiency in English
• Arabic skills are a plus
• strong customer service and communication abilities
• excellent upselling and product recommendation skills
• good understanding of restaurant operations and order handover procedures
• ability to accurately complete cash reconciliation and closing reports
• positive attitude, teamwork oriented, adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• flexible availability for shifts, including weekends and public holidays
