Electrical Inspector

Job description

Profession Overview: The electrical inspector reviews and evaluates electrical installation and maintenance works in accordance with Saudi standards such as IEC 60364 and SABIC Code. Ensures the integrity of equipment and systems, and conducts field tests to identify any violations or risks. Submits detailed reports explaining the results and recommendations for correction to the competent authorities. Usual tasks for this profession: • Review electrical plans and installations in the field. • Conducting inspections and tests for electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications. • Identify violations and safety risks and issue the necessary warnings. • Preparing inspection reports and following up with the concerned authorities.

Requirements

• Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Skill: Practical experience in electrical inspection and monitoring.
• Skill: Good knowledge of approved codes and technical specifications.
• Skill: Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi electrical systems and international standards
• Skill: Reading and understanding electrical and structural diagrams
• Skill: Using test tools (current, voltage, and insulation meters)
• Location: Riyadh region
