Maintenance Services Technician II

Job description

Role: Perform line maintenance on aircraft In‑Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems to ensure serviceability and functionality. Responsibilities: replace components, conduct inspections and functional tests, and certify work; troubleshoot failures down to line replaceable units and test after repair; execute cabin sweeps per the employer guidelines and report findings; perform BITE and manual testing; load software and media; clean components and equipment racks as required; complete aircraft documentation per customer specifications; coordinate and escalate issues with lead or supervisor; communicate with customers and certify work under company authority; assist with airside inventory management, packaging, and shipping; maintain high standards of housekeeping, health, safety, and tool care

Requirements

• Secondary/Technical school degree
• 12 months experience on the employer IFEC systems
• minimum 24 months on‑aircraft experience
• worked on aircraft within the last 18 months
• preferably hold a valid KSA GACA aircraft license or equivalent
• essential aircraft maintenance experience
• excellent communication skills
• ability to work in high‑stress, high‑pressure environment
• ability to work in a team
• proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• basic Linux computer skills
• ability to lead and supervise as needed
• normally receives detailed instructions
• apply professional concepts and company policies to resolve issues
• excellent English language knowledge
• legal right to work in the assigned country
• ability to pass extensive security and background checks
• up to 25% international and domestic travel
• valid driver’s license and meet airport authority access requirements
• ability to work rotating 24/7 shift roster
• manual dexterity with tools
• ability to climb ladders or platforms
• sit, stand, bend or twist for extended periods
• lift up to 50 pounds
• operate under extreme weather and confined spaces
