Standardization Pilot

Job description

Belongs to S3 Arabia and reports to the Aviation Director. Oversees MNG Aviation training programs for each brigade. Conducts qualification, refresher, readiness, mission, continuation training and evaluation of GDC and MNG pilots per the MNG-AVN Aircrew Training Manual. Maintains Contractor Training Records and Individual Aircrew Training Folders. Provides classroom ground school, instrument instruction, and flight training on aircraft and simulators. Oversees flight operations and personnel to ensure standardization. Performs other duties as assigned by the Brigade Flight Training Director.

Requirements

• Master's degree preferred or equivalent combination of college courses, military training and experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• 15+ years relevant military experience in division and TRADOC units
• experience at battalion/brigade level or equivalent
• SIP experience at Fort Rucker preferred
• minimum 3000 total flight hours preferred
• minimum 1500 instructor pilot hours preferred
• minimum 1000 PC hours with 300 hours on type aircraft required
• minimum 250 NVG/NVS hours
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or GACA pilot certificate required
• US Army Instructor Pilot Course graduate required
• US Army Instrument Examiner Course graduate preferred
• FAA Class II flight physical or US military DD 2992 or GACA flight physical with annual renewal
• knowledge of aviation laws, regulations, SOPs, policies and procedures
• proven performance in developing and managing aviation programs and brigade-level projects
• effective oral and written communication
• ability to work with staff and customers professionally
• valid driver’s license
• knowledge of military staff organization policies and procedures
• familiarity with Saudi labor law, SANG and OPM‑SANG procedures
• successful completion of required medical exams
• clean criminal record
• pass drug test and comply with random drug and alcohol testing
• adherence to Saudi Labor Law.
