Electrical Inspector

Job description

Responsibilities:. An Electrical Inspector audits and evaluates electrical installation and maintenance work according to Saudi standards such as IEC 60364 and the SABIC Code. He ensures the safety of devices and systems by conducting on‑site tests to identify violations or hazards. Detailed reports are issued with findings and corrective recommendations for the relevant authorities.

Typical duties of this profession:

• Review electrical plans and on-site installations.

• Conduct inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure compliance with standards.

• Identify violations and safety hazards and issue necessary notices.

• Prepare inspection reports and follow up with relevant authorities.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi electrical systems and international standards
• Read and understand electrical and structural diagrams
• Use of test instruments (ammeters, voltages, insulation)
• Implement safety procedures and issue certificates of conformity
• Writing accurate technical reports and documenting the results
