ServiceNow Developer (Remediation & Testing)

Job description

the employer is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer (Remediation & Testing) to join our team and support ServiceNow transformation, remediation, and testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, platform remediation activities, defect resolution, and testing to ensure the stability, quality, and performance of the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities include performing remediation activities on existing ServiceNow implementations, developing, customizing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations. The candidate will also analyze and remediate issues arising from platform upgrades, migrations, or new implementations, and design, execute, and support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration
• strong experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and Flow Designer
• experience with remediation activities, defect fixing, and troubleshooting within the ServiceNow platform
• hands-on experience in testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
• experience with ServiceNow upgrades and release testing
• knowledge of JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration technologies
• familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• excellent communication and collaboration skills.
